"Filmed while on a rare year off after the end of her previous world tour, the documentary is a look at Beyoncé relaxing and traveling the world, while simultaneously prepping for the release of her new album, called 4. Fans get a rare glimpse at the Beyonce behind the makeup and out of the costumes. It's Beyoncé the thinking woman, who reveals her thought process -- insecurities, reassurances and all -- reasoning her way through tough decisions. Though you might not think such an independent woman would have a hard time being her own boss, Beyoncé, who recently split from her longtime dad-ager Matthew Knowles, candidly addresses her fear of her new-found independence." (MTV)
Take a look at the 25-minute MTV documentary, in which Beyonce explains why she felt the need to take a year off and what she has been preparing for her fans with the launch of her new material.

Perfume Review: Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo
I first smelled the new Jimmy Choo fragrance about 3 months ago when it had just been launched in Sephora and back then, I wasn't very sure about it. I thought it was nice, but I didn't really feel the urge to buy it. I retested it again several times whenever I stopped by Sephora and it really grew on me, until one day when I decided I do like it and I want to get a bottle. I've been using it ever since. I think my favorite thing about it is the way it lingers on my clothes, my scarf and my jacket smell delicious.
The fragrance opens with a touch of green notes (probably the bamboo listed in the top notes), but they are short-lived and dissipate in a few seconds on my skin. Enter the fruity notes, namely the pear which luckily is not loud on me. I don't enjoy a fruity overdose when it comes to perfumes, I don't like smelling like a fruit salad, so I'm very picky about what specific fruit I like in my fragrances and the dosage. I absolutely enjoy eating all sorts of fruit, tropical or not, and I love the way my kitchen smells right after I prepare a fresh fruit salad, but I don't like my perfumes to smell like that, if it makes any sense.
I don't get a lot of fruity notes in this one, just a soft pear and teeny tiny bit of orange, and I'm perfectly fine with both. It then melts into the middle and base notes: orchid, sweet toffee caramel and patchouli. Patchouli can be a difficult note, especially if it's harsh, overdone, but in this fragrance I like it, it doesn't bother me at all. I guess I'm lucky with this fragrance, my skin tolerates it so well, it's nicely balanced and it just ends up smelling...yummy! Make no mistake, it is sweet and strong, but I don't mind either of those, and frankly, I've smelled stronger perfumes than this.
Don't expect anything groundbreaking though, it's not an unique fragrance. The formula has been used many times before: fruits, flowers, sweet notes, over a patchouli base. Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf, Gucci by Gucci are all in the same category, just to name a few. I read and heard about Jimmy Choo being compared to Flowerbomb many times (because of the resembling bottle as well), but on my skin it's not similar to Flowerbomb. However, I can definitely see where the comparison is coming from and I say it's in the same vibe as Flowerbomb. Not similar, but in the same vibe, so if you like the fragrances mentioned above, give Jimmy Choo a try. The lasting power is very good. It is available in 40 ml, 60 ml and 100 ml bottles Eau de Parfum, plus shower gel and body lotion.
The design of the bottle was inspired by Murano glass and the campaign is fronted by Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon herself.
In Romania, you can find the Jimmy Choo fragrance only at Sephora (it is exclusive to them). In the US, you can also find it at Saks. In the UK, try Harrods, Selfridges and Boots. In other European countries, try Sephora and Douglas.

On the longevity of Project Runway: “I’m going to be 80, walking with a stick down the runway.”
On keeping things alive in the bedroom: “There’s nothing wrong with a nice garter belt. I’m not saying you have to put up a pole in your bedroom and start swinging off the rafters. But I love that sometimes!”
On whether Tim Gunn ever gives her style advice: “He hasn’t. He’s so polite - he would never say, ‘Why are you wearing that?' Michael [Kors] is a little bit more…well, he always jokes with me. He says that my skirts are really short. He calls it fallopian length. He teases me.”
On when she finds her husband Seal the hottest: "Always. He's hot even when he's sleeping. He's a beautiful man. He's kind, he's a gentleman, and I watched him last night on stage and he still rocks it."

Anne Hathaway For Harper's Bazaar August 2011
Anne Hathaway graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar US, August 2011, wearing a Gucci dress. More photos and interview excerpts below.
On James Franco's comments about her to David Letterman, when he compared her to the Tasmanian Devil: “How did I take it? I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit….In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”
On fashion: “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes. [Off the red carpet,] I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it.”
On her boyfriend, Adam Shulman: “So far, it’s worked out great. [Getting caught up in the intensity of a romance] has its wonderful side, of course, but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out. Mellow doesn’t always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life.”
Anne Hathway's upcoming movie is One Day.

On her guilty pleasure: “I love bad TV, so if I can just stay home on a Sunday and catch up on my horrible reality shows, with my dogs and my Pinkberry, to me that’s heaven.”

Beyonce Makes History With Amazing Perfomance At Glastonbury Festival
Beyonce headlined this year's Glastonbury Festival, England, and delivered one of the very best performances of her entire career. Thus, 29-year-old Beyonce became the first woman in 20 years to headline Britain's iconic festival, believed to be the biggest rock festival in the world. In 2008, her husband Jay-Z was the first hip-hop star to headline Glastonbury and last night, he was watching his wife at the top of her game, in what was one of this year's most-anticipated performances.
Beyonce reportedly rehearsed for 10 hours each day, preparing for Glastonbury and what a great set it was. Amazing energy, singing and dancing and a fantastic crowd who went crazy as Beyonce performed hit after hit: Crazy in Love, Single Ladies, Baby Boy, Naughty Girl, Irreplaceable, Halo, If I Were A Boy, Sweet Dreams (her own hit mashed up with Eurythmics' song of the same name).
Beyonce also covered Prince's The Beautiful Ones, Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire, Etta James' At Last and part of Alanis Morissette's You Oughta Know, and she performed tracks from her new album, including Run The World (Girls), the new single Best Thing I Never Had, the ballad 1+1, and what I can only hope will be her next single, the track called End of Time. Beyonce also sang a medley of hits from her Destiny's Child era.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this performance. It was perfect, from beginning to end. It was the kind of performance that deserves a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Beyonce sang for about one hour and a half in front of 175,000 people and some other millions watching live broadcast across the world. Way to go, Beyonce. She proved once again that on stage she delivers effortlessly. This is one of those concerts that needs to be seen in its entirety to get a feel of how good it really was. And kudos to a great crowd who sang, cheered and enjoyed every minute.
(Update: The links I provided last night have been taken down from YouTube by now. It's a shame every piece of footage from last night's concert is getting deleted.)
